The ultimate goal of my research program is to develop and evaluate interventions which will prevent perinatal depression among low-income Spanish- and English-speaking pregnant women and new mothers. My current work focuses on integrating screening and preventive interventions in the Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program for this population. Other related projects/interests: * International collaborations of perinatal depression * Immigrant resilience * Comorbid perinatal depression and anxiety *  Fathers/partners' role during transition to parenthood.
