Luis Jose Gonzalez-Gomez is a Postdoctoral Associate at GWIPP's Program on Skills, Credentials & Workforce Policy (PSCWP), where his research contributes to the LAiSER project. Previously, he worked at Tecnológico de Monterrey and its Institute for the Future of Education (IFE), contributing to Shaping Skills, an initiative using AI and labor-market data to identify emerging skills, occupations, and workforce trends. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Tecnológico de Monterrey and has published research in international journals and conferences, including IEEE Access and Frontiers in Artificial Intelligence. With more than 18 years of experience in higher education, he combines academic research, software engineering, and applied AI to better connect education, skills, credentials, and workforce needs. He is also an established expert in artificial intelligence, natural language processing, and machine learning.
