My research and teaching interests center on American politics, judicial politics, and political methodology. In particular, I examine judicial decision making, the Supreme Court, inter-branch interactions, judicial appointment politics; public opinion, political behavior, and public perceptions of national institutions. My work has appeared in American Political Science Review, American Journal of Political Science, Journal of Politics, Public Opinion Quarterly, American Politics Research, Electoral Studies, Political Research Quarterly, and other outlets. I teach undergraduate courses in judicial politics, methodology, and constitutional law, and graduate courses in judicial politics and political methodology.
