Summary: This effort produced three papers on the capacity of the United States for invention. These papers were intended for use by the Lemelson Foundation in its effort to encourage a sustainable increase in the capacity of the U.S. for invention and for the commercialization, diffusion, and adoption of inventions that have a positive impact on the nation's economic well-being and growth.
