Fiscal & Economics Policy

Policy research on economic and fiscal issues is one of the cornerstones concerns of GWIPP researchers.

For example, the Significant Features of the Property Tax, an ongoing joint venture with the Lincoln Institute of Land Policy, is documenting property-tax policies in all fifty states and the District of Columbia.

Much of GWIPP’s work on economic policy addresses urban and regional economic development. Our vibrant team of scholars also study workforce development and we have one of the nation’s foremost authorities on federal economic statistics, Andrew Reamer.
